Summary
7+ years designing for complexity, ambiguity, and systems that didn't exist yet. Built design systems, conversational AI experiences, and analytics tools at enterprise scale, then built the critique culture that made 150+ designers better at shipping them. Now looking to bring that foundation to AI-native products where the interaction patterns are still being invented.
Experience
The Home Depot
UX Designer II
January 2021 - January 2026 (5 years)
Conversational AI and Dialog Design
- Designed the end-to-end conversational experience for homedepot.com's chatbot and live chat system. Defined when AI handles a request, when it escalates to a human, and what the handoff should feel like. Built dialog flows, edge cases, error states, and fallback behaviors in Voiceflow.
- Designed AI-assisted tools on Sprinklr giving associates real-time conversation summaries and smart workflow suggestions. Reduced average handle time by approximately 25%.
- Joined the early design team for Magic Apron, Home Depot's generative AI shopping assistant. Shaped the product direction, interaction model, and initial prototypes before the product had established patterns.
Complex Data and Decision-Making Tools
- Designed the Customer Communications Console, a real-time analytics dashboard that made complex, multi-channel customer data legible and actionable for operations teams. Redesigned the information architecture and visualization layer, reducing time-to-insight from 12 minutes to under 3.
Systems, Culture, and Team Building
- Built the design system for Supply Chain UX from scratch. Defined reusable component patterns, documentation, and governance across fulfillment centers. Adopted by 4 product teams within the first quarter.
- Created the company's design critique culture from scratch. Wrote the frameworks, facilitation scripts, and feedback structures now used by 150+ designers across the organization.
- Mentored junior and mid-level designers. Led design sprints that moved from research to tested prototypes in days, not weeks. Partnered daily with product managers, engineers, and data teams.
UX Designer
December 2018 - January 2021 (2 years)
- Joined a team with no design infrastructure and built it. Created the first component library, established artifact standards, and defined review workflows that became how design and engineering collaborated across Supply Chain Operations.
- Conducted contextual inquiry with 20+ warehouse associates across fulfillment centers, then translated field findings into redesigned workflows that reduced task-completion errors.
UX Design Intern to Full-Time
May 2018 - December 2018
- Redesigned an enterprise application based on contextual inquiry with frontline users. Co-created the enterprise content style guide adopted by 150+ designers.

What I'm Looking For
I want to design AI products where the interaction model hasn't been written yet. The best tools I've built started with no playbook, and that's where I do my best work. Looking for a team that ships fast, cares about craft, and is building something that changes how people use software.
